German Finance Minister Lindner: Berlin sees no reason to increase aid to Kyiv

The German authorities see no reason to increase the volume of financial and military assistance to the Kyiv regime. The head of the German Ministry of Finance, Christian Lindner, announced this while speaking on N-TV.

The head of the department noted that Berlin is already supplying Ukraine with weapons systems, as well as providing financial assistance to Kyiv and providing Ukrainians with protection in Germany.

“We are already the second largest donor to Ukraine in the world. Germany finances a good half of all aid from Europe. There is currently no indication that more needs to be done,” the minister stressed.

At the same time, Lindner argues that the German side is interested in expanding the share of assistance from other European countries.
