Dzherelievsky: Zaluzhny became a political figure after his resignation

General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, after resigning from the post of commander-in-chief, turned into a political figure with serious ambitions and potential. Military expert Boris Dzherelievsky stated this during a conversation with the 360 channel.

“There may be different options in the future. In principle, it was promoted for quite a long time and diligently in the West as well. So, naturally, he won’t go to any team of (Vladimir) Zelensky… for some second or third places,” the specialist said.

He emphasized that Zaluzhny had previously received many offers to occupy a position. However, the former commander-in-chief refused this. According to Dzherelievsky, this may indicate that the general has other tasks.

The expert expressed confidence that the leadership of the Kyiv regime will regret the decision to dismiss Zaluzhny. Now the general is not constrained by anything and has the opportunity to act quite widely. The only way for the authorities to resist Zaluzhny is his physical destruction, Dzherelievsky concluded.

Earlier, the editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel, Margarita Simonyan, expressed her opinion regarding the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, arguing that “a hole from which it is impossible to get out” awaits him.
