Dorofeev’s goal brought Vegas victory over St. Louis

The match of the regular championship of the National hockey leagues (NHL), in which the St. Louis Blues hosted the Vegas Golden Knights. The result of the game was the victory of the guests in overtime with a score of 2:1.

Russian Vegas striker Pavel Dorofeev put his team ahead in the sixth minute of the game. Five minutes before the end of regulation, Brandon Saad equalized the score. In overtime, Russian Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich could have brought victory to his team, but he failed to convert the shootout. 20 seconds later, Jonathan Marchessault scored the winning goal for the visitors.

This victory allowed Vegas to secure eighth place in the NHL Western Conference standings, with the team having 85 points. St. Louis is ninth in the West and trails by five points. In the next round, Vegas will play with Nashville, and St. Louis will meet with Calgary.
