A woman from the Moscow region posted an unusual ad on social networks. She wants to infect her first-grader daughter with chickenpox so that she quickly acquires immunity. About it writes online publication “Moscow Region Today”.

The head of the outpatient clinic at the Vidnovskaya Hospital, Aislu Karimova, said that it is possible to become infected this way. She believes that there is no point in specifically looking for the source of infection.

The doctor noted that there are now two vaccines against chickenpox in Russia. They are approved for children from 12 months, and in some cases from nine months.

Aislu Karimova warned that chickenpox can cause serious complications at an early age. The doctor emphasized that the vaccine can protect, even if there has already been contact with the patient.
