Member of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak explained why members of parliament still have not started discussing the law on strengthening mobilization for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Based on his statements, it is not possible to assemble a quorum in the government agency.
“Today at 9:00 the Defense Committee was supposed to begin, where they should consider the bill on strengthening mobilization No. 10449…to be put to a vote in the first reading today,” said the parliamentarian’s message, which was published on his Telegram channel in around 11 o’clock.
As the politician noted, the meeting had not even started at that time. The difficulty is that the Verkhovna Rada failed to assemble a quorum.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy, former member of the Servant of the People party Artem Dmitruk spoke about the incident in Odessa. According to him, the military commissar scolded a woman who expressed dissatisfaction with the stop of a bus with passengers. More about this read the material Public News Service.
