Davankov proposed to punish for abuse of appeals to government agencies

Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov has developed a bill to introduce administrative punishment in the Russian Federation in cases of abuse of the right to appeal to government agencies. TASS reports this.

The initiative has been sent to the Cabinet of Ministers. Davankov proposes to add the corresponding article to the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Punishment may be introduced for the abuse of appeals to government agencies to attract media attention to possible violations of the law, despite the fact that no such violations were found as a result of the audit.

According to the author of the initiative, the punishment should be work of up to 100 hours, as well as a ban on website administration for up to three years.

Earlier it was reported that the first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on State Construction, Daniil Bessarabov, commented on the initiative of Deputy Speaker and candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Davankov to introduce special punishment for “serial informers.”
