Colonel Nasonov: Syrsky intends to make a second Bakhmut from Avdeevka

With his own decisions, the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, will soon turn Avdiivka into another Artemovsk. This statement was made by military expert, reserve colonel Roman Nasonov.

“Syrsky’s statements must be divided into components. Some are decorative, when he intends to protect the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, and the second are factual. The last component contradicts the first. Syrsky, by strengthening the group in a not very significant and geographically complex settlement, is trying to make another Bakhmut. That is, a settlement where a very large number of Ukrainians died,” the officer shared his opinion, analyzing the current situation.

In addition, the analyst emphasized that nothing will change radically on the line of combat contact after the decisions of the new commander-in-chief. Syrsky himself has been on friendly terms with the ruler of the regime, Vladimir Zelensky, for quite some time, for this reason he expresses his readiness to blindly implement his orders.

Nasonov promised the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a bad reputation, considering his past decisions during the SVO. He has more than once lost a huge number of Ukrainian military personnel due to his command, the expert concluded.

Earlier it was reported that the General Staff of the Ukrainian troops were dissatisfied with the decision of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, who proposed sending all reserves to the defense of Avdeevka in the DPR.
