CNN: Hamas expressed a desire to extend the truce with Israel

A member of the Politburo of the Palestinian radical organization Hamas, Ghazi Hamad, announced the movement’s desire to extend the truce with Israel in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the CNN television channel.

“We strive to extend the truce to stop the aggression once and for all, using the trump cards we have. We are ready to conclude a comprehensive… agreement that concerns the release of war prisoners in exchange for the release of all Palestinian prisoners,” he said.

Let us remind you that the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began on October 7, when Hamas fighters attacked Israeli territory. The Israeli military, in turn, began to carry out a large number of strikes on the Gaza Strip, and members of the Palestinian movement continued to fire at Israeli territory.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Israel should be held criminally responsible for the war crimes it committed in the Gaza Strip.

During a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Erdogan pointed to the fact that Tel Aviv continues to violate international law in front of the entire international community. More about this read the material Public News Service.
