BT: Frederiksen confused Denmark with Norway and marked the wrong royal house

According to BT, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made a mistake when trying to congratulate the country’s new king Frederik X on his accession to the throne on a social network. The head of the Danish government noted the Norwegian royal house in the photo of the new monarch.

Let us remind you, Frederick X was proclaimed the new King of Denmark. He ascended the throne after his mother Margrethe II abdicated it. She reigned for exactly 52 years.

“Frederiksen tried to pay her respects to King Frederik and the Danish royal house on social media. Unfortunately, in the photo accompanying the post, instead of the Danish one, the royal house of Norway was marked,” the newspaper reported.

Earlier it became known that the King of Great Britain Charles III may abdicate the throne following the example of Margrethe II. The reason given is that the monarch was unable to gain the trust of his subjects, as well as health problems. More about this read the material Public News Service.
