Belarus will stop recognizing Ukrainian diplomas and academic degrees
Belarus has suspended the agreement with Ukraine on the recognition of educational documents. Resolution of the Government of the Republic published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall send a message regarding the termination of the agreement,” the text of the resolution says. The resolution, signed by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, comes into force from the date of its adoption.
The agreement between Belarus and Ukraine on the mutual recognition of educational documents was adopted on February 6, 1998.
December 20, 2022 was discontinued the validity of the agreement between the Russian government and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the mutual recognition and equivalence of documents on education and academic titles, signed in Moscow on May 26, 2000. On March 25, 2022, the Ukrainian side adopted a similar resolution.
