Axios: UAE calls on Netanyahu to ask Zelensky for money for Palestinian salaries

The head of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, rejected a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to provide funds to pay salaries to Palestinian workers who were banned from entering the Jewish state. Axios writes about this, RIA Novosti reports.

Recall that a few weeks ago Netanyahu asked Nahyan to pay unemployment benefits for Palestinians who were banned from entering the country by Tel Aviv after an attack by the armed group Hamas.

“Ask Zelensky for money,” the head of the UAE responded sarcastically to the Israeli Prime Minister’s request.

It is worth saying that Nahyan was seriously outraged by Netanyahu’s attitude, since it was Tel Aviv that was responsible for the fact that Palestinian workers were left without a livelihood. The politician recalled that at the moment the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, receives huge amounts of money from around the world, so the Jewish prime minister should make such a request to him.

Earlier, American Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict could metastasize. More about this read the material Public News Service.
