Advocate for the Freedom of Choice automobile movement, auto lawyer Sergei Radko, warned that in winter, motorists are less able to distinguish markings due to snow, and because of this, they are more likely to receive fines for non-compliance. The agency URA.RU writes about this.
“We pay attention to everything from traffic cameras, and then there are speed and markings. <…> The camera knows that there are markings there, but the driver does not. Therefore, he can go where the markings seem to be marked in memory, but he does not see them. Nevertheless, the driver gets a fine,” the expert said.
Previously, motorists who bought cars of foreign brands released this year began to experience their blocking when connecting the vehicles to uncertified diagnostic equipment. These problems have been recorded in cars of such brands as Renault, Mercedes and BMW.
Dealers explained that last year foreign automakers stopped supplying cars to the Russian Federation and turned off support for official software and diagnostic equipment. More about this read the material Public News Service.
