Autographs of Napoleon Bonaparte will be auctioned on January 25

Two original documents signed by the Emperor of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, will be put up for auction. The press service of the Litfond auction house informed about this on Monday, January 15.

It is specified that the auction will take place on January 25. The originality of the document was confirmed using a certificate from International Autograph Auctions Europe SL. As noted in the message, the starting bid at this auction will be 280 thousand rubles.

“Firstly, an extremely rare document from the era of the Napoleonic Wars, related to the mobilization of Italians into the army and written on April 2, 1813 in the Elysee Palace,” the publication says.

The emperor’s signature on the license to the captain of the ship, which was issued for the delivery of goods from England and to England, had the same starting price. This document is dated 1813.
