ATOR: prices for a tour for two to Iran will cost from 200 thousand rubles with flights

Russian tour operators note a slight decrease in prices for trips to Iranwhich led to a revival of interest from Russian tourists, reports Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

According to the association, tour operators are seeing an increase in demand for tours to Iran. Experts identify several reasons for this positive trend, including the desire of travelers to discover new countries, the expansion of the tourism range in Iran, and the reduction in prices for tourist packages. Falling airfare also contributed to price declines. In addition, local travel companies have reduced prices for their services.

Last year, the cost of an excursion tour to Iran for two people averaged from 200 to 215 thousand rubles, excluding flights. Currently, for the same amount you can purchase a tour with flights included. Tickets for flights from Moscow to Tehran and back are available starting from the beginning of March at prices starting from 27 thousand rubles per person.

However, ATOR notes that Iran is not yet in wide demand among Russian tourists and remains a country with a low level of tourist interest. According to the association, this process is slowing down in particular due to the lack of an active marketing campaign on the part of Iran in the Russian tourism market.

Previously, according to information published on the web portal of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), Russian tourists were presented with approximate prices for holidays in Anapa in the summer of 2024. More about this read the material Public News Service.
