Armenia ratified the agreement on the EU mission on the border with Azerbaijan

Armenia has decided to ratify the draft agreement between the country and the European Union (EU) on the status of the EU mission on Armenian territory. The News.am portal reported this on Wednesday, March 20.

As noted in the message, this decision was supported by 57 deputies. Also, 26 decided to abstain.

Let us remind you that the Civil Mission in Armenia (EUMA) was created in order to resolve the conflict with Azerbaijan. This mission was established in January last year. At the same time, EUMA was designed for two years. The European Union stated that this mission is necessary to promote stability in the border regions of Armenia.
