Apple and Google removed applications of several Russian banks

The American companies Apple and Google have removed from their application stores, App Store and Google Play, a number of applications of several Russian banks that had previously been subject to sanctions by the United States. RT reports this.

It is alleged that the applications of the banks Russian Standard, Post Bank, Absolut, Home Bank and the All-Russian Regional Development Bank were removed from Google Play. The applications of these banks were also removed from the App Store, with the exception of Russian Standard and Home Bank.

We would like to remind you that the US Treasury Department made an announcement on the introduction of new sanctions aimed at a number of banks operating in the Russian Federation. The blacklist of the American department included Post Bank, RRDB, Russian Standard Bank, Absolut Bank and HCF Bank operating in Russia.
