Russian citizens who are currently in Poland are faced with Russophobia and spy mania, Russian Ambassador to Warsaw Sergei Andreev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, the Polish government is actively involved in whipping up a sense of danger for Russian citizens, and the local intelligentsia also supports the “witch hunt.”
“Discomfort is created, first of all, by the general atmosphere of Russophobia, witch hunts, and spy mania, which is fueled by the authorities, political and intellectual elites, and the overwhelming majority of the media,” Andreev said.
It is noted that Warsaw regularly expands the list of persons against whom sanctions are applied.
