Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that there is de facto peace between Baku and Yerevan. RIA Novosti reports this.

According to him, a peaceful situation has reigned on the border of the two countries for several months.

The head of state noted that a peace treaty can be signed only after amendments are made to the Constitution of Armenia.

As before wrote Public news service, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan proposed that Azerbaijan conclude a “non-aggression pact.” The politician also added that Yerevan remains committed to the peace process and is not going to retreat from it.
