Aksenov reported the interception of eight drones on approach to Crimea
During the night, Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems shot down and suppressed eight drones on approach to Crimea. This was announced by the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov.
“During the night, on approach to Crimea, eight enemy UAVs were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment and shot down by air defense forces. I thank our military for their precise and well-coordinated work!” – wrote he is on his Telegram channel.
Aksenov also called on local residents to remain calm and trust only official sources.

The head of Sochi, Alexey Kopaygorodsky, clarified in his Telegram channel that the air defense system on duty in the city was activated. He also said that there were no injuries or damage as a result of the incident, and that the airport and all resort systems were operating normally.
