Advisor to Zelensky’s office Leshchenko called for replenishing the shortage of manpower in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Advisor to the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Sergei Leshchenko, admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are faced with a shortage of manpower. His words are quoted by the Ukrainian TV channel TSN.

Leshchenko pointed out the need to rotate and increase reserves. According to him, the average age of a military man in Ukraine is 54 years. He emphasized that a stormtrooper at that age cannot go on an assault.

Leshchenko explained that those who are in the east should be replaced by those who are in the west of the country. He also added that previously some companies had up to 110 people, but now the number could even be three.

Let us recall that on February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin, during his address to the people, announced the start of a military special operation in Ukraine. Putin outlined the goals of the SVO to protect the residents of Donbass from the Kyiv regime, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of the Ukrainian state.

Earlier, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of this month amounted to more than 13,700 people. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
