Actress and singer Rona Hartner dies

French-Romanian actress and singer Rona Hartner has died at the age of 50. Her sister Rinda reported the tragic news on social media.

The celebrity died on November 23 after a long battle with a serious illness. Hartner was diagnosed with a tumor in her lung measuring 5 centimeters, as well as seven foci of cancer in her brain.

Rona Hartner began her career as an actress in the 1990s. She played Tessa in several parts of the fantastic horror franchise “Transers”. She also has roles in the films “Asphalt Tango”, “Time of Wolves”, “Sex Harem of Ada-Kaleh” and many others. During this period, Hartner released her first single.

The artist is also known for her participation in a high-profile sex scandal. At the age of 25, Hartner was convicted of an affair with the then 60-year-old President of Romania, Emil Constantinescu. Both denied such speculation.
