A Ukrainian “bought” a third child for $2,000 in order to escape abroad

In Transcarpathian region Ukraine On the border with Hungary, two Ukrainian citizens were detained who tried to use fake documents to travel abroad. One of them, a 27-year-old man, introduced himself as a father of many children, presenting three birth certificates of children.

During the investigation, it turned out that one of the certificates was fake. During interrogation, he admitted that he bought a fake document for his third child on the Internet for $2,000.

Another detainee, a 31-year-old man from Ivano-Frankivsk, also tried to leave the country by presenting a temporary certificate of a person liable for military service and a certificate from the Military Command about his unsuitability for military service. However, these documents turned out to be fake.
