A Russian woman who stole more than 30 million rubles was extradited from Kazakhstan

From Kazakhstan extradited a Russian citizen who is accused fraud on a particularly large scale. This was reported by Ministry of Internal Affairs countries.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Russia, in 2010-2014, a woman borrowed money at interest from three residents of the Sakhalin region. She allegedly wanted to open a business transporting expensive cars from Japan.

Two Russian women gave her 200 thousand US dollars against a receipt, and another gave her about 20 million rubles.

In 2019, a criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. She was under recognizance not to leave the place. However, in the fall of 2022, the defendant left for South Korea.

Then she went to Turkey, where her husband is a citizen. The Russian woman received Turkish citizenship.

In December of the same year, she was put on the international wanted list. The accused was found in the city of Shymkent. She was arrested.

Previously Public News Service reportedthat the Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced Natalya Poluektova, a former translator at the Swiss Embassy in the Russian Federation, to four years probation.
