A report was drawn up against rapper Morgenstern for violating the law on foreign agents
The Savyolovsky District Court of Moscow received a protocol against rapper Alisher Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) on violation of the legislation on foreign agents, should from the database of capital courts.
The administrative case was registered in court on October 18, the date for its consideration has not yet been set. The protocol against the performer was drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to provide information, the provision of which is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents). For citizens under this article a fine of 30,000 to 50,000 rubles is provided.
The Ministry of Justice included Morgenstern in the register of individual foreign agents on May 6, 2022. In May 2022, a court in Naberezhnye Chelny fined the rapper 100,000 rubles. for promoting drugs in music videos. The appeal against the verdict was rejected, and the court decision entered into legal force. In June 2023, a court in Moscow found the performer guilty of violating the rules of marking a foreign agent in the information he disseminated. His fined for 40,000 rubles.
On October 17, in the Golovinsky District Court of Moscow under a similar article – Part 2 of Art. 19.34 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – entered material regarding TV presenter Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). A hearing on the case was scheduled for November 13.
