A plane flying from Moscow to Tomsk made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk


A Boeing 737 aircraft of Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) flight Moscow – Tomsk made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk due to problems with the engine. About it reported in the press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office.

The reason for the landing was “incorrect operation of one power plant.” The department clarified that the landing took place as usual. A total of 165 people were on board the plane.

All of them are at the Novosibirsk airport; they will be sent to Tomsk along with a spare Siberia aircraft. The prosecutor’s office organized an audit of the implementation of flight safety legislation.

On October 14, a Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft flying from Vladivostok to Chita committed emergency landing at the departure airfield due to a malfunction of one of the engines. The landing was successful, no one was injured, the causes of the technical failure are being established.
