65,000 people attended the concert in honor of the Day of Reunification with New Regions


The concert “One country, one family, one Russia!”, organized in honor of the anniversary of the reunification of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with the Russian Federation, was held on Red Square. The event was attended by about 65,000 people, said official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.

“Police officers, in cooperation with Russian Guard servicemen, fully ensured law and order and security at the event, which was attended by 65,000 Muscovites and guests of the capital,” – said Wolf, her words are quoted by the department’s press service.

During the concert, artists such as Nikolai Baskov, Oleg Gazmanov, Stas Piekha, Shaman and others performed before the audience.

On September 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on celebrating September 30 as the Day of Reunification of New Regions with Russia. The document equates the day of entry of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with the days of military glory.

On September 29, the head of the Russian state called reunification with the new regions a historical and fateful event, emphasizing that it was a “conscious, long-awaited, hard-fought and truly popular decision” that the residents of the new regions made together during referendums in full compliance with international norms.
