In 2023, about 20 thousand citizens received information and legal assistance from a notary Moscow free of charge. At the same time, more than 2.3 thousand citizens were provided with consultations in the public reception rooms of the Moscow City Notary Chamber, of which 508 people went to the main public reception room in Bobrov Lane and another 1.7 thousand came to the reception rooms in administrative districts.
The consultations are supervised by the Commission for Interaction with Public Organizations and Legal Assistance. In addition to its members, the Moscow State Notary Chamber (MGNP) also provides legal assistance to citizens. Last year, its members responded to 2,985 written inquiries and conducted 14,267 telephone consultations.
The MGNP considers legal education of citizens one of the priority tasks against the backdrop of the emergence of a large number of pseudo-lawyers who seek not to solve the problem, but to make money from it.
Consultations in the Chamber building on Bobrovy Lane are held twice a week – on Mondays and Tuesdays. To apply, you must make an appointment in advance by calling (495) 623-54-86. In addition, in the administrative circles of Moscow, legal consultations of notaries are carried out in accordance with the established schedule.
Most often, citizens turn to questions regarding registration of inheritance, as well as in order to resolve other property and non-property issues. In each specific situation, the notary tries to choose the most optimal solution.
